TAG is proud to support our community however we can. In addition to our Dial-a-Ride and shuttle services, we welcome exploring every opportunity to benefit our neighbors and friends in the Greenwich region.

HOW TAG SUPPORTS THE COMMUNITY

Emergency Support

When misfortune arises, TAG steps up. 

​

TAG has helped evacuate senior home residents during times of flooding, and transported elderly neighbors to cooling centers during dangerous heat waves. When snowstorms threaten to keep nurses from treating their in-home patients, TAG plows a path through the snow. 

​

While we hope emergencies never come, TAG will always be ready to assist and support our neighbors.

COVID-19

​

TAG’s help-however-we-can approach guided us through the COVID-19 crisis. While the world sheltered in place and our organizational partners shut down, we partnered with the Neighbor to Neighbor Food Pantry to help deliver essential goods to the Greenwich community. 

​

At the peak of the pandemic, TAG drivers delivered weekly packages of groceries, weighing 10-20 pounds each, to over 550 households. Ensuring that each of these families had the basic resources they needed to survive – from blankets to food to toilet paper – TAG was proud to step up to support the Greenwich community.

TAG is an invaluable member of the Greenwich community. Their frontline support during our COVID-19 food delivery service initiative was a crucial partnership to our efforts.
